Global Manufacturer | Inventory Optimization & Working Capital Management
The Challenge
A global manufacturer established a Cash Management Office to sustain significant free cash flow targets. After exhausting DPO and DSO improvement levers, inventory performance became the primary remaining driver of working capital improvement. Structural challenges including siloed accountability across supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams, technology investments that failed to drive behavioral change, and a change management gap had blocked meaningful progress.
The Approach
Kryus Ventures implemented a structured inventory optimization and mobilization approach focused on both the technical and organizational dimensions of performance. We mobilized a cross-functional operating model to drive alignment and shared accountability, established a data-driven inventory baseline with standardized KPIs and a single version of the truth, and drove execution through a jointly owned roadmap with clear accountability, metrics, and governance across all functions.
